ATL (Amperex Technology Limited) is a Hong Kong registered company with manufacturing factory in Dongguan, Guandong, PRC. The company is dedicated to be a premier solution provider for mobile devices.

ATL's international team comes from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and the United States. We bring together an extensive background in battery technology, manufacturing, and OEM.

Funded with Venture Capital investment, ATL started operation in October 1999 with emphasis on designing and manufacturing quality LIP (Lithium Ion Polymer) Battery Cells. The choice of LIP is based on its unique advantage of thin profile, design flexibility in footprint, safety, and environmental benefits.

In May 2005, ATL ATL was acquired by TDK Corporation.

ATL mobile phone battery/cells have now received certificates from China's MIIAL, and European CE. In February, 2001, ATL has received ISO 9001 (2000 Edition) and ISO 14001 certificate through RW TUV, a German ISO certification organization. In February 2001, ATL's cell phone battery passed all tests for UL certificates. By February 2002, more than 40 ATL's products had received UL certificates.
